Personnel Protection

Due to the variety of applications and different criteria on what is necessary for Personnel Protection, these calculations on completed on a "per job" basis to avoid any confusion or unnecessary complications. If you would like to have a calculation completed for your current job, please proceed to the Calculation Submittal page, or contact your local representative and HiTHERM will have a calculation returned to you within 24 hours.

Important: The standard calculations generated by HiTHERM in regards to Personnel Protection are completed with the understanding that the general minimum temperature used to avoid injury within the Mechanical Insulation industry is 140°F. Our calculations use this temperature to determine minimum thickness required for personnel protection. If you would like to use a lower temperature, please be sure to state this in the comment section of the Calculation Submittal Form, or when you speak with your local representative.
